Stereoselective synthesis of vinylphosphonates and phosphine oxides via silver-catalyzed phosphorylation of styrenes.

چکیده

An efficient and stereoselective synthesis of vinylphosphonates and phosphine oxides was developed starting from styrenes using AgNO3 as the catalyst and K2S2O8 as the oxidant. The success of the reaction was found to be critically dependent on the use of TEMPO as the additive.

We have developed efficient copper-catalyzed additions of P(O)H compounds to alkynes, and the reactions provided the regio- and stereoselective E-alkenylphosphine oxides under catalysis of the commercially available and inexpensive copper catalyst system CuI/ethylenediamine. This finding is the first example of copper-catalyzed hydrophosphinylation of alkynes to synthesize alkenylphosphine oxides.
